Polperro is a beautiful village and Miranda Cottage is the ideal base from which to explore it - it has level access and is within striking distance of all the pubs and restaurants in the village (which means no hills to negotiate on the way home!).

Miranda Cottage has been lovingly renovated and has living space on three floors. The cottage enjoys the benefit of central heating.

The ground floor comprise a lounge with the most enormous original open fireplace which features a wood burning stove. The ceiling is oak beamed. TV, video and stereo is available along with a selection of music. There is also a selection of games available.

The kitchen is fully fitted including electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave and washer-dryer. And yes, the crabs and lobsters on the wall are real! There is seating for six at table.

On the first floor there are two double bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and overhead shower, and on the top floor, the main, very private oak-beamed bedroom in the eaves. This has an ensuite bathroom, with the benefit of washing machine and tumble dryer.

Miranda Cottage is decorated throughout in keeping with its history and location and the local fishing tradition and has many original features to admire. The stairs and bathrooms are full of old propellers, lobster pots and other fishing and boating memorabilia. The cottage sleeps six and all three rooms have double beds.

We provide all bed linen and towels for your stay inclusive in the rental charge. Beds will be made up for your arrival. Miranda us personally maintained by us - in fact it was our home until recently. We hope we offer a very high standard of comfort and cleanliness.

Booking Conditions:

1. Occupancies to commence 3pm on day of arrival and terminate 10am on day of departure.

2. A deposit of 50% of the rental is payable on booking, balance is due 6 weeks before holidays starts. Cheques payable to G. Stanbury.

3. In the event of cancellation the deposit is forfeit and, on bookings cancelled within 6 weeks of the start date for holiday, balance will only be refunded if property is satisfactorily relet.

4. All breakages to be notified to owner before departure.

5. Occupants are politely requested to leave the property as they find it.
